Let me poll you...

so one of my projects for my online class on the history of photography class is the ask people five random questions about photography. i am very happy that they get to be random, for i like randomness and it makes it much more fun for me! i have decided to poll you, dear reader and here are my questions for you, answer away!

1) do you prefer to take pictures of people, places or things?

2) would you rather take photos digitally or the old way with film?

3) which would you prefer: looking at pictures in a museum or flickr?

4) do you agree, that this is one of the most beautifully gorgeous pictures you have seen in a long time?

5) do you hold your breath while taken pictures, secretly believing the old myth (or so they say) that pictures take a bit of your soul away?

1). Used to be things but now that I'm slightly less shy- people.

3). Museum
4). But of course.
5). Nope.

Do you know who I am?

1. People, but I love taking great shots of plants
2. Digital... if I can actually utilize it properly
3. Oooooh... As much as I love flickr and seeing tons of photos, there's a completely different aspect when seeing photos in a museum.
4. Ummm... Sorry, I'm not going to lie... no.
5. Sorry.

Hey there Anya! What a great assignment!

1. generally things or people. I have a hard time getting good shots of places.

2. Film is really great, but I absolutely adore digital in that I can see the picture that I just took and figure out what I need to do to fix it in the next picture.

3. I would say both. Flickr pictures can be amazingly beautiful and quite amusing and there doesn't seem to be much humor in museum photos. However, there's just something about pictures in a museum that is just..... wow.

4. HAHAHAHA! Yes, that is absolutely fabulous!

5. I do hold my breath, but not because of the myth (however that is beautifully poetic). It's usually in anticipation of "I hope this picture comes out as well as it looks in the viewfinder."

"Sorry this is so long....."

1. all of everything!
2. digitally.
3. ooh... depends on the picture(s).
4. TOTALLY! hehehe
5. mmm... i hold my breath merely so i'm as still as possible... and i think that my soul is not taken away, but perhaps a bit of myself goes into the picture i've taken...?

:)

Hopefully this is still needed...if not - too bad!

1) All of them, especially if there is something about them that stand outs from their physical or social surroundings.

2)Digitally - But would like to know that process, just for kicks.

3) Depends on the pictures. Large prints can be awe-inspiring. However, that same awe can sometimes be seen on the screen of my lappy.

4) How could it not be?!?!

5)Hmmm....I'm actually not sure about that. I know that I hold really still, so maybe I do...
